I love when people say "official" ranks like their word is law.
In case PNMs are wondering, obviously rankings vary on person to person, but "tiers" are a real NPC/PHA thing and are defined by how competitive each chapter is, based on the last 3 years of recruitment statistics. Chapters are in a higher tier if more girls want to join their house, based on which houses PNMs select they want to go back to and their order on PNM's bid sheets. If a house is in the upper tier, PHA requires them to turn away more PNMs and if the house is in the lower tier, they are only allowed to cut a small percentage of PNMs. Because new sororities don't have three years of recruitment data, they tend to have to invite 90% of PNMs back each round. This system is designed for each house to reach quota.
For example, lots of people say Theta isn't top bc they're not social enough, but Theta has to turn away the most PNMs according to PHA rules, making them 'top tier.'
My point is it's all subjective so pick what house you feel most comfortable in and reflect your values, not which houses are more popular or more competitive.

the only person who knows theta's numbers compared to any other houses' is the VPM for PHA and the Office of SFL's advisors.

You'd be surprised how much PHA exec shares with each other and with their chapters. So no it's not a secret depending on who you're friends with. And I never gave any specific number for Theta. But they are one of the most competitive houses. 90% is the requirement for new/struggling chapters though.

Meh. Rankings should also be determined by retention of members after recruitment and your chapter has much, much worse retention than the other chapters you listed.
And no one cares if you don't like the nickname. It's not mean unlike many of the other nicknames for chapters. Just a shortening of your name. I think it's cute but you do you

it's not proof they are or arent, but my roomie is a fuzzy, and she's shared the sane thing in the past. most of them cringe at that nickname
