rush questions
by: PNMWhat are good questions to ask during rush and what questions should I be prepared to answer?
#3 by: Real
Be prepared to answer:
name, major, etc., what you’re involved in, what you’re looking for in a chapter, if you’re looking to live in at some point, if anyone in your family was Greek, how you like/relate to their philanthropy (ex. Gamma Phi’s philanthropy is building strong girls and I remember them asking me who my female role model is or someone who inspires), your goals, what made you want to go Greek
Ask:
Favorite parts of being on their chapter, what made them chose their chapter, what they do for their philanthropy, what type of sisterhood opportunities, how the chapter has helped them, what they’re interested in, what it’s like living in the house, what their chapter values are, things they do for fun, academic & professional opportunities, what their new member process is like,
Don’t talk about:
What frats they hang with, if they haze, how much money they spend, politics, what GPA they want you to have, how much they party (you can ask about social, but don’t ask about drinking really), how hard your major is, etc
