To me the most worst thing people do is clearly say things because they think it's what we want to hear. It never feels genuine. The best way to tell if you will fit in a sorority is to try to relax and have the most normal possible conversation with the girls. Those are the PNMs I like best because I actually know what they're like and you will enjoy yourself more too. Keep in mind all of these girls are just girls in college like you and you should treat them and act the same as you would if your friend had introduced you instead of recruitment

you'll go to houses where you know all you can talk about is your major and hometown and boring stuff like that. the houses where the conversation just flows and you talk about things you didn't know you could during rush are going to be your favorite houses and ultimately where you end up.

I think this is about the best advice on here. You'll know when you know. That said, you may very well get a girl who you just don't click with in your conversations. Don't write the house off if you like other things about it because of one awkward conversation. Three awkward conversations? different story.
