sophomore rush

Rushing as a sophomore is fine i would say the people going through recruitment is 40% sophomores and 60% freshmen. Not considered strange at all dont stress so much... make sure you sign up for recruitment fast though because idk when the deadline to register is.

I’m doing the same thing and know lots of others rushing as well! It will be fine just be sure to not stress about that or show any insecurity.

I rushed as a sophomore and highly recommend it. I feel like the process was so much easier to handle and I had a much better grasp on who I was and what I valued than I would've as a freshman. I had no problems with being treated differently and know that my chapter doesn't look down on second years at all. Don't stress too much, you will be just fine!

I don’t think many houses get too wrapped up in sophomores. If you were a junior or above I’d give you caution, but so many people, including myself rushed as a sophomore. A huge number of OSU students are transfers too so that’s a common thing to see during recruitment. Sign up, enjoy it, don’t stress! Worst case, you get cut and try informal and maybe see if Kappa will be right for you. They’ll take girls in every class because they want a full chapter and not all their founders graduate at once.
