chapter dues
by: PHAAm I the only one surprised after creeping on the look book to see Kappa has the highest live-out dues? $1,400 a semester, then it mentioned there may be a one OR TWO year live in requirement? Yikes. Maybe an established chapter could do that, but new one? I’d be running for the hills.

Not the OP, but I don’t think it’s even about them being a threat because literally no one thinks that. I didn’t know these facts before, but they’re clearly in the look book for PNMs to see on their own.
I think it’s ridiculous too for them to expect that. I’m so taken back by that and my dues aren’t cheap either.

I’m already in a chapter here at OSU and my opinion about the Kappa re-establishment is private to me. What I can tell you is that maybe the reason that the fees are so high is that it is expensive to re-establish a chapter, and the extra fees are just a part of that in addition to the high financial commitments of greek life. You can always ask about the main logistics of the fees at the events hosted by Kappa.

And these first two commenters are clearly the same person (using “yikes” twice, who even says that?) an alum who got cut from the old Kappa?
