why are sorority girls pages so public?

I feel like they have many followers and are never private. 8itz like this at other schools and I'm thinking of coming here and joining Greek life so is it s requirement to have a public profile? Because I enjoy having mine private

Keep it private for recruitment! Girls will more than likely creep on you and if they see a photo that doesn’t align with their sisterhood it could change things!

Many girls keep theirs private. Definitely keep it private while going through recruitment.

Most sorority members are encouraged to make their pages public before recruitment so pnms can see cute pics of them at their events with their hashtags!! Don’t worry about your own social media :)

If you don't have that many followers on instagram would it be a good move to make your instagram harder to find so members don't see and judge you? I know this sounds shallow I'm just nervous
