Yea that gpa is pretty good for sophomore standing if you vibe well and fit whatever other criteria the houses want

not saying it's a good thing, or that you should be concerned, but as a sophomore, not matter how well the girls liked you, that would get you cut

That won't get you automatically cut for any house except for Theta or Chi O I believe. There may be others and certain houses have very strict requirements for upperclassman but I don't know exactly where the cutoff is for them.
Honestly as a sophomore you just have to accept the fact you'll be less competitive, but it's not like you'll get dropped by 90% of the houses for that GPA. And as long as you're a pleasant person, you'll be okay.

Every chapter has 2 GPA requirements: one that they publish and one that they don't.
If your GPA is over 3.5, you will have no problem getting into a house.
If your GPA is 3.0-3.5, some houses will cut you. In other houses if they have 2 identical PNMs but one has a 3.5 and the other has a 3.2, all things being equal, the PNM with a 3.2 will be cut.
If your GPA is less than 3.0, you will have a tough time.

I am a sophomore that is going to be rushing and my GPA is 3.38 as of now.... do you think that would be ok for most houses ?
