Hello! Is there anything I should be prepared to talk about at the houses during the different rounds, or is it just casual conversation to see if you click with the girls?

Congrats for signing up for recruitment! Sadly, none if us can really answer that question since membership is secret per org. With the clickiness at each house, remember that just because you might click with the girl you're paired up with doesn't always mean that you're going back there since she has to think about her sisters too. Good luck!

You have 4 months. Chill.

In all seriousness, just act like the best version of yourself (don't be mean, try not to be weird). Approach it like it's half making friends/half an interview.

To avoid answering the same old questions in all the houses, learn how to spice-up any convo and further a plain old discussion with your Sorority Sue recruitment match. When Sorority Sue asks "what is your major?" you answer correctly/politely (such as "I will study psychology") then immediately add (if true) "and I had the chance to attend a summer seminar on new ways of counseling teens with depression that had me in awe of the subject". Then let Sorority Sue ask you "where was your seminar?" and go from there. Don't just give way too brief ("yes" and "no") answers, instead add a bit of convo that prompts Sorority Sue to ask you further Qs.
