sorority houses
by: ?How hard is it to get a spot to live in a sorority house as a new member sophomore? If I rush and get a bid next semester, would I be able to live in the house the following year?

while some living conditions are different, i wouldn't condone picking a sorority based on the house, unless that is realllly that important to you. For example, I can't remember if it was chi o or theta, (see for yourself in rush) but one had a sleeper-style room where it was just like a room of beds for a bunch of people so they could fit lots of people in there, which I really didn't want. I know DG and Aopi have nice houses, KD's is super cute, as well as many other houses. Zetas house is small and Gamma phis wasn't cute, but that's because they are both newer. If you are going through rush knowing you will want to live in like I did it may be understandable to think about the houses a TINY BIT, but again, please dont pick your sisters based on their house. Really look for girls you want to be friends with and see yourself making priceless memories with. a nice house is just a bonus then. These are all my opinions anyway. please go through rush and form your own opinions.

I'm not the OP but I'm a freshman with a similar housing question: are the living conditions in the houses something to consider when ranking the ones we like during rush? Or are they all pretty much the same? I have seen a lot of the sorority houses but only from the outside...so I am not sure what the inside or bedrooms are like, but I assume they are at least nicer than the frats lol
