opinion

I'm thinking about rushing this fall or spring and I wanted to know people's opinions on the engineering sorority, Phi Sigma Rho. I don't know whether to consider them or not. I want a social sorority and they claim to Be one so I just wanted to know what they're really like

Checking them out this fall won't hurt. It's better to see for yourself if they would be a good fit for you rather than always having a lingering 'what if'. I will say that they have done a pretty decent job of becoming more well known socially recently.

they are social with themselves and other engineering frats. they aren't considered a social sorority though. If you've wanted to be in greek life, they won't be like that. If you want to hang with other engineers and put a greek org on your resume, then I'd join it.

they are considered a social sorority. they do social events with other small frats. i've never really heard anything bad about them but they are smaller than other sororities

I would check them out. They're getting more out there in greek community. I was a social chair last year for my sorority and we had a sisterhood event with them and it was a blast. They are smaller, but that could be a good thing. They're not as well known with frats, but I think they're getting there. Depends what you're looking for!
