ato, pike, fiji, beta, sig ep

by: Buckeye1046

I'm rushing next fall and was wondering the difference between ATO, PIKE, FIJI, Beta, and Sig Ep. I've been told various things and what I've gathered so far is that their all kind of on the same tier. Any thoughts?

They all try super hard and fail remarkably at it so if thats your gig you'll be in good company

You don't really know until Rush but a quick overview of each
ATO - most would say this is the "best" frat you listed. Solid middle tier guys and getting better pledge classes, party pretty hard but don't have the best sorority relations
PIKE - had a small pledge class this semester, losing their house next year, moving down
FIJI - some good guys but a lot of goobers too, well liked but have lame social events
Beta - There new house is definitely gonna make them more relevant and they're slowly rising, will need to stop blanket bidding before becoming relevant though
SigEp - a bunch of smart guys, got a good block partner in fuzzie but still regarded as a club since they have no pledge process

This isn't entirely accurate.
1. I wouldn't say fiji has lame social events, they threw some pretty big parties this year which were pretty fun in my opinion.
2. Beta didn't blanket bid, they're pledge class this year was much better than last years. If your saying beta blanket bids than pretty much the rest of these fraternities do the same because they attract around the same amount of guys.
3. Pike actually had a big pledge class this semester and they are losing their house in 2 years.

Any reason you're only considering those 5? Like honestly there are prob a fair amount of frats in upper and lower tiers that you also may like. Depends what you're looking for in Greek life.

I'd say it's generally seen these days as ATO>Pike>Beta>FIJI>SigEp, with Beta having risen the most recently

ATO: they had a lit block last year, really improving but its confusing that they got agd again and thats definitely a hit

Beta: huge house coming next year. Only reason theyre talked about. Need to stop blanket bidding

Pike: losing their house, not bad but have a bad rep

Clubep: no pledge process, not many parties but nice guys

Fiji: really nice kids, not too sure about the parties but they do have that big islander party

Personally i'd say rush them all and find out yourself but i'd rank them: ATO > ClubEp > Fiji > Pike > Beta

ATO>FIJI>SigEp>PIKE>BETA Beta is still irrelevant, Sig Ep sucks but has some followers, and FIJI is all about their brotherhood or whatever but their last few pledge classes are way different than the usually goobers

Unpopular opinion but every girl I've talked to in my sorority loves Sig Ep guys because they're the type of guys who can have fun but you can also take home to your parents. I'd say they are def the most respectable and the ones who actually get the most girls.

I could t agree more. A bunch of my guy friends don't like them so I assumed that it was because they were douchey or something but they're really sweet and I honestly think frats just don't like them because they manage to still do well without hazing

We don't like Club Ep because they act like they're better than everyone for not having a pledge process, when it's what bonds your guys. You can ask some of their brothers if they know some guy in their own pledge class and they don't even know who he is.
