step approved frat house ?

Ok so if its 6 per semester that basically means a frat is forced to make the decision to either have block at their house (but not have a single party/pre-game/TG the entire semester) OR they can choose to have up to a mere 6 parties/pregames/TGs (but never have block at the house)...that's terrible. Why would any frat opt into becoming step approved ?

Honestly I was pretty against rushing a step approved place when I did it but it's super nice tbh. I got to live in the house as a sophomore, its cleaned by the university, we have a awesome chef, and it's not loud in case I actually have a midterm on Friday. Plus we can still drink in the house (just not throw many parties), and our annex is a block away so I really can't complain.
