houses get 100s of emails from pnms wanting to COB. It's a fast process and they don't have time to meet with every single person so they usually take recommendations from their chapter. If you don't know someone in the house you're out of luck. I know it sucks but that's what formal recruitment is for. COB is way more competitive. How many girls depends on the house. But for a house like Chi O I'd probably guess around 5 girls.
