greek life in the 90s was tanking bc of huge amounts of bad press. A sigma chi fell off the roof of tridelt, and adpi killed herself, phi psis were tying each other naked to dg's tree and anchor, and all of this was making the news. the bottom sororities repeatedly couldnt hit quota so their nationals came in and started closing the chapter/revoking it's charter. Some nationals had the financial strength to retain their homes (Zeta) others like Fiji (home next to TKE), ATO (brown home across from theta), Phi Mu (aepi annex), ADPi (apartments by axo), and SDT (apartments by dg) had to sell theirs.

I don't think you can blame Gee for houses closing, when he was here his second go around, Greeks loved him. Sororities closed in the 90s to early 2000s due to dwindling numbers. Fraternities closed also, some were kicked off like Fiji and Delt, others closed for dwindling numbers. Some houses barely survived during the lean years, when there was less interest in Greek life nationally and at OSU, but made it through and are doing well now.

Phi Mu closed in the 90s and their house is between AXO and Alpha Sigma Phi. Too bad they sold it.
Then Zeta and ADPi presented for extension, Phi Mu was also invited to present but they backed out. Don't know why.
