"top-tier" sororities and informal recruitment

Im looking to informally rush next year but I heard that pi phi, DG, and alpha phi never do informal. Is this true? And if so, why??

not usually. every couple of years one has to do it, but its reserved for friends of members. if you didnt get in the first time, you wont get in informally. informal is harder in most cases. judging by your post, your attitude is what made houses drop you.
