by: BlessCan people, if just for the sake of my sanity, let me know what they hear about informal this spring? I got cut from everything before pref and it broke my heart. I know they have it in fall, but i know some do spring too. Pls don't tell me to wait till next spring,i will if its the only option but im already a sophomore and want to get involved sooner rather than later. Obviously if spring doesn't happen ill try fall. Just asking in case anyone hears anything! (Not trying to diss the process but this kinda blows :(

they'll have your name, but the girls in the chapter list the names of the girls that they liked or girls who really left an impression

It wouldn't hurt to try to reach out to some the lower tier chapters in 2ish weeks to see if/when they have recruitment events planned, if you havent already heard. Maybe see if you get their recruitment chair's email from their website.

I'd actually reach out right away so they know you are interested. When they decide who they'll give an informal bid too, they'll talk about he girls who reached out sooner rather than later more favorably. And if they can still give out a snap bid, they might (if still allowed) give a snap bid.
