snap bids

Please let me know if you get a snap bid so I know when to give up hope! Desperately checking my phone all the time even though I'm sure it won't happen. Put me out of my misery and inform me if you are called/emailed :'(

Not necessarily. I got a snap bid last year more than a week after bid day.

Any bids given out today were bids during informal recruitment. Snap bidding is only for chapters that don't make quota. Any bids now would be from chapters that are not at total. Quota and total are NOT the same thing.

I'm pretty sure snap bids have to be given out and confirmed the day of by I think 8pm. I can promise there will be sororities doing informal though! Don't give up hope

Also, typically a girl in the sorority has to put you down on a list for snap bids or you had to be on their bid list. So either a sister remembered you and noticed that you didn't make it to pref round or you were on their bid list after pref round and you must have suicided and they saw you didn't get anywhere and want to still extend you the bid. Now remember this, a lot of sororities won't need to give out snap bids or will only need to give out 1 or 2.
