legacies

I'm a legacy in a sorority here and i'm curious how seriously legacies are taken? are they pretty much guaranteed a bid or are they only invited back once?

You are not guaranteed a bid at any house. In most cases, the only thing it guarantees is you will be asked back to at least one invitational round. I'm in a mid tier chapter and we do cut legacies we don't when we vote after the second round.

Definitely NOT guaranteeing a bid. Most chapters don't even care if you're a legacy honestly

At my chapter, we do love having legacies but if you don't fit it then we make exceptions.

I only know of 1 chapter that HAS to extend a bid to a legacy and that's AOPi, it's an international policy they have... but if they have a good reason to cut you (GPA, actually done something to a member that was bad, etc.)
