Most of the gpa cuts come after meet the chapter. So if you're having good conversations and doing your best to stand out in these houses, your gpa shouldn't be a problem after the MTC cuts

Depends if they liked you then the house can lower the grade pt. otherwise great tool for top houses to use to cut off the avg. girl. And why don't you have a good grade pt you knew that this was important. You should have taken classes that weren't so challenging or studied harder. No excuse so you don't deserve to be in a good house.
Can always work on grade pt and rush next yr...hit the books

GPA cuts happen every round, but they're most severe the first two rounds. If your GPA is iffy, you could still be cut for it after phil and sisterhood rounds, or be ranked lower after pref round. It depends on how you stack up compared to the other PNMs, and if your other qualities slightly make up for a subpar GPA. Same thing goes for cuts based on if you're a freshman or upperclassman.
