That depends on how recently you started rushing and any existing relationships you have with brothers (especially those involved in rush). If you've only been to one or two events, going to one more isn't totally foolish, since they might be on the fence or want a better look at you.
If you went to blocks or have been coming around a fair amount, then yeah, I'd move on.
