Does knowing someone in a sorority help you/ should you mention someone you know?

It could, they also probably already know you know them. Do it casually though, and only if it's a good friend or like a roommate or something legit. If you went to hs with a girl and said 5 words to her in bio it's not worth it.

It really helps if it's a close friend. Tbh, they can get you really far if THEY'RE trying to get you in, not if you're mentioning them. It does't hurt to mention though. They may make note & bring it up to them. Be casual though.

And maybe mention how you know them & examples of how she has been a role model to you. Bringing up ways you show our values is really helpful.
