thoughts on fiji/ sigep?

Currently a senior in high school who would like to join a frat, but the only connections I have are in FIJI and SigEp. How are those houses? Apparently FIJI is considered bottom tier. How much does that really matter? I don't care about stupid Greek drama and stuff, I just want to have a good experience.

Is it hard to get into a """better""" frat if you have zero connections? I'm sort of on the quiet side and I'm not a rich kid. Where should I be looking at?
