step program ?
by: NatHow do you guys think the step program is going to affect Greek life? Just kinda curious about what changes will be made and what the difference between Step and non step houses will be

For girls, I really don't think it'll effect it. Almost all sororities houses are STEP approved, and the ones that aren't are well known enough that it won't make a difference. Frat wise, guys don't want to join houses that can't party all the time. STEP frats will actually have smaller pledge classes

Sophomores hate the dorms which means they're much more likely to join Greek life. It doesn't really affect sororities (almost all are approved) but it's a big deal for frats. So called "top tier" frats that are too poor to afford a second house to party in are losing a lot of ground socially because the best recruits are going where they can live in a house their second year.
