sorority gpas

I know you need a 2.5 to rush but I also know some chapters make their gpa requirement higher, anyone know what gpa each sorority house is looking for

some sororities pretty much don't care as long as you have a 2.5 but sororities with higher GPA's are Theta and chi o always the most impressive and hardest to get into and then KD, tridelt and I think aephi but not 100% sure!!

You need a solid 2.75 to be safe for most. About a 3.0 for Theta or Chi O. I'm sure it was partly other reasons, but I had a 2.6 my first time through and didn't get a bid. My friend from G Phi told me I was cut for my GPA. I even got cut from AOII because their min is a 2.7 so.....

I rushed with a 2.6 and got cut by a lot of sororities. People really do care about it a lot unfortunately over values. I think people should still rush even if they have a low GPA, just do not be surprised when you get cut by most houses. I would have at least a 3.0 or higher if you want to be considered "safe".

It matters a lot more than people pretend. Last year theta and chio cut anyone who had below a 3.5.

GPA definitely matters. Not gonna name my house but I can tell you our cut off is a 2.9 overall, 2.75 if you have a solid rec letter or are a legacy.

GPA matters but you shouldn't let that prevent you from rushing!! You'll always get asked back to some houses. And even if a sorority has a high GPA standard, being a legacy or being close with an active already in the sorority can get you in.
