ZTA will affect the chapters the same way that gphi did. It'll majorly hurt recruitment because they want to be apart of a sorority that is new and they can have influence over, unlike the sororities that have been here for decades. Gphi had huge numbers of girls coming back, and if last year's rush numbers for zeta says anything, it'll be the same. The only thing I'm worried about is that they still might not have a house, which would hurt

I think ZTA is going to attract a lot of girls, but I don't know that they'll be able to keep them through pref. They have such high fees and not much to show right now. They're all over campus and all their girls are barbies, so they have the look and appeal. I think they'll lose the top girls to upper & upper mids, and get a worse class than last year. Based on my roommate's experience last year they just got a lot of pretty girls recruited off of social media & by their reps coming to campus and specifically reaching out to girls who they wanted. They encouraged girls and basically told them they'd have bids if they were pretty & had a good campus & social media presence so they could get their name out there. Now that they have to recruit like the rest of us, I don't see it going as well.

I think they'll do better than a lot of lower sororities but girls will continually to pick dg, a phi, pi phi, kd, tridelt, chi o, and theta over them. I think they are going to compete with agd and axid girls.

Whoever said ZTA doesn't have a house they do. They have the old sae annex on summit, so not sure how much of a house that is, also I know girls tend to drop far houses so that could hurt them. I think A girl chasing the top tier would rather do zeta over a lower mid/ some mid chapters because they'll pretend they rushed better than they did even though zeta can't afford to be as exclusive as they want to be.

I think they'll mostly compete with dg and pi phi
