gphi dirty rush?

Tbh, a lot of sororities get in trouble with PHA for "dirty rushing" including GPhi. The rules set by PHA are pretty strict though, so dirty rushing can be as simple as using the hashtag #gogammaphi to using decorations during recruitment that PHA doesn't allow. Some chapters just budget in advance to pay the fine, which is the usual penalty. But it's not a big deal and it every sorority here gets in trouble for dirty rushing every once in a while.

A more serious thing is when sororities tell girls they have a bid or tell them to single intentional preference. However, that doesn't usually happen and is generally because an active is being an idiot, not bc the sorority told them to dirty rush. But definitely report this stuff to PHA please. The other stuff doesn't really matter.

I'm not sure how much truth there is to it but I heard this too. Heard they got in trouble for promising to give girls bids if they were doing formal and they did. I guess a PNM went to PHA after she heard about it when she was cut.

Don't know if they found any proof though. Think it's just being investigated.

Gamma Phi is a new chapter so if they got reported they'll probably look into it more than they would for other chapters. Hope it's not true though, G Phi used to have such sweet girls. Their last class was a bit less inclusive than before, hopefully they don't let their rep change.
