Many fraternities host tailgates before the football games. Each fraternity ask a sorority to tailgate with them in the spring for the next football season. The sororities vote on who they want to "block" with. It is called block because the fraternity and sorority get group seating in the stadium for football games and they take up a "block" of the stadium seating. Block helps build realtions between a fraternity and sorority, but I think it would be improved if sororities rotated every week. Block usually starts 3 hours before kick off. After the first hour girls from different sororities can bounce around to other blocks.

if you are a girl it typically doesn't matter who you are. guys would probably have to know people in the frat
