cost of sororities

I was wondering what the average cost is for a sorority and what Gamma Phi's costs are as I'm considering informal rush if they do have it. I found a great post about all the different costs from 2014 but was looking for an updated version.

I do not know what Gamma Phis costs are, but I think the average costs are around $1,000 per semester for every sorority. Add on a couple $200 or more for group orders or sorority apparel you will want. I would not just focus on one group though and give every sorority an open mind! You might want to go to more informal events for other groups, go through formal instead to meet every house, or join a new sorority if there is a new one for next year. If you know a group of people in Gamma Phi and feel like you would fit in, then I would def go for them but keep in mind that other people from there need to meet you and it is a mutual selection process, etc. Good luck!
