I was in your exact spot the summer before my freshman year, and relied on this website as the source for all my opinions on sororities here at Ohio State. Doing this caused me to have false, and extremely unrealistic expectations, and made me have a really tough recruitment process because of all the preconceived stereotypes I had. Wait until school starts and judge for yourself, the process really does work, and you'll end up where you're supposed to be, regardless of stereotypes or tiers

You also have to see which houses call you back. Just because ABC has a reputation that you identify with most, doesn't mean that they will see you with them. You might like to party, but a house that parties more (based on reputation) may not call you back. Honestly, focus less on reputation, more on the people. If you can't see yourself being friends with the girls, then the sorority isn't for you. I've found that in houses, many people have very similar personalities, so join a house where you feel comfortable. Who knows, you could decide not to rush later based on your first semester experiences.

Pi Phi - the top sorority at OSU, blonde blonde blonde, GORGEOUS house, would recommend if you like to party
Aphi - think they are the best just because they have one hot pledge class, they had an awesome bid day this past year, boys love them
chi o - tied for THE most boring sorority on campus with theta, 10/10 would not recommend if you party but they have a very good chapter GPA year after year and are very involved on campus
DG- honestly, they are top tier but lots of people don't like these girls because they are the snobby rich girls but they have a really nice house and like to party, not that attractive though

KD- nice girls, pretty, like to go out and they are top tier
AGD- they're kinda all over the place you have a ton of variety of girls in that house, probably the middle of the road rank wise
Tridelt- gorgeous house, like AGD has mixture of girls, ranked right below KD along with chi o

KD-sweet girls, like to go out but not as involved on campus, most are very pretty
AGD- mix of hot girls and average girls, very cute, great example of a relaxed chill, middle tier sorority
AZD- very similar to AGD in that their are chill no have a mix of hot girls, would say that they probably go a little harder at parties
Tridelt- super involved girls, they love their philanthropy, definitely rising, gorgeous house.
Honestly there are nice, fun, and gorgeous girls in every house in Greek life! Really do it based on who you get along with and you'll have the time of your life
