Loved pi phi during fall preview until the girl talking to me asked me what my dad does... I heard rumors that they were materialistic and now I see why :(

All the girls I know in Pi Phi are very materialistic, so don't join if you aren't concerned with labels!! Also, I've heard a member talking about the fact that they didn't want her recruiting because she wasn't cute enough. Um, WHAT??? Doesn't sound very "sisterly" to me. These girls are what we refer to as a "Regina George".. if you wear sweatpants, you can't sit them.

Although they may have the appearance of being "great" that is all these girls have going for them. They appear to have it all on the outside but there is no sense of sisterhood behind the exterior looks and most girls are pretentious and materialistic. If you aren't hot or have money behind your name don't bother trying to impress any of them. Good looking for sure but not genuine girls in the least.
