Alpha Omicron Pi Sorority Ratings at OSU

Let’s talk because I feel like we need to talk. After this recruitment process, I feel as a PNM that we need to give AOII a chance. I did not end up here. However, I can speak to their resilience, their drive to recruit real and diverse women, their attitude. They were built on diversity. They do better with real one on one conversations than they do with “oh what’s your major, your favorite ~Starbucks order~” surface crap. I truly believe that we as PNMs need to give them a chance. We need to go in there with an open mind. We need to stop basing our judgement on prejudices from 5-7 years ago when they arguably WERE a hot mess. Just because you did not vibe with them does not mean they are bad. That’s the first thing you all need to fix with your mindset. When you set that precedent on others they build off of that and could be potentially losing out on their real home. When you talk about them, you say: “they weren’t for me.” They really tried their hardest and the effort was seen at least from me. So please, for the love of Pete, stop with this discriminating viewpoint of them and give them a chance as a sorority within PHA. They deserve our consideration and open minds and our approval as a community of Greek Life. They deserve it. I have nothing but respect for the way they recruit real, diverse, unique women and give them a home.

gotta give it to em. Love their energy and enthusiasm for their sisterhood. a group of girls that is accepting and caring.

I can’t believe this group of ladies exists!!! what a wonderful pack of sisters who genuinely love and support each other!!

I can’t wait for the spring, i’m a sophomore going through recruitment and i’ve seen what greek life is like! These women care for each other and for the community genuinely! I love this sorority going into recruitment but of course keep an open mind because there are lots of great groups!

Hey! So there have been tons of positive posts on her about aopi. And while they do have some nice girls and just a few cute ones, for all the pnm you need to know they typically recruit on the lower side. So you’ll be doing a lot of informal. Like a lot. One of my friends just graduated and she sometimes had 2-3 informal session a SEMESTER because they needed like 15 girls and would only get like 5 additional! That’s just because they couldn’t get the number of girls to attain quota. They definitely are being more social, but they are considered bottom tier of all the sororities. And I know I’m going to see like 20 negative likes and like 5 comments about how they are REALLY UP AND COMING. They are constantly on action plans by nationals because of their low numbers and a lot of times they can’t fill the house so if you don’t plan on living in more than 1 year(if at all) you will most likely get put on probation. (Tbh this could really happen at any sorority but they have the most beds to fill besides kkg if I’m not mistaken). When going through recruitment truly leave your mind open for every sorority including this one, because this could be your home.

The cream of the crop. these girls are fun and driven and kind. i love their involvement on campus and their kind hearts.

I’m completely and utterly obsessed with this sorority. They have such a great time together and their involvement in things other than Greek Life makes them very unique and appealing!

If you aren’t already in love with these girls you’re about to be. They are some of the kindest and most genuine groups of girls i have ever met!

Aopi is a hot mess. They don’t have enough people to do recruitment and desperately need numbers, if you join you won’t get the experience you would get at any other house. Their sisterhood is horrible as half the girls hate each other. Run far away
