spring recruitment

Does anyone know which sororities are doing spring recruitment? And what does it mean by invite?

Theta, Alpha Phi, and GPhi almost always do spring recruitment.

Usually at the beginning of the spring semester. Theta usually does a more formal open recruitment but they participate in an open house. They try really hard to fill quota each year but there are still only a couple spots left. GPhi’s recruitment is a lot more informal and they do an open house as well. They’re on a big push to grow their chapter so they’ll probably accept you as long as you’re smart and a nice person. Alpha Phi basically dirty rushes in the spring; they usually check out who parties the hardest and then approaches them with a bid.

Only chapter that did spring formal rush this year was GPhi. Fall everyone else made quota. I have heard of a few others have been approached with a bid as some girls dropped etc. but nothing formal.

All the sororities matched to quota or quota plus in fall formal recruitment. Only chapters that have fewer members than the revised spring chapter total are eligible to recruit informally this spring.
