what's considered a legacy here?

by: Hmm

So my aunt was in a sorority (I forget which one, but I know there's a chapter at OSU) but I'm related to her by marriage (my mom's brother's wife) would I be considered a legacy here, or is it only if your parents were in a house?

A legacy is only of direct bloodline, so you're mom, grandma, great grandma, etc. OR dad, grandpa, great grandpa, etc. It is called a "tie" when you have an aunt, uncle, or cousin. It puts you a little above those who don't have any connection to the house, but not anywhere close to the importance of a legacy, although they will look at you as well.
