how do you get a bid?

I’m an incoming freshman and have been summer rushing a few houses. I feel a great connection with all of them. I’m starting to panic however because I haven’t gotten any bids yet, and school will be starting soon, and it will be harder to talk to as many brothers. I’m getting pretty sad because some people I’m rushing with have already signed with houses. How do I get a bid?

Ask the recruitment chairman. Tell him you're interested and ask what are the next steps. If they don't think you'll get as bid they should let you know.

I already have been talking to them about my interest and such and have met most of the brothers. So if they haven’t told me no there’s still a chance?

Not really. They might not know it's the house you want. Plus a lot of people wait until rush to sign even if they are bid in summer so they might not be bidding a lot

Best piece of advice - don't rush only one house. That certain house might not like you for whatever reason. Rush as many houses as you can. You'll find your fit that way, plus you're almost certain to get more bids (as long as you're chill)
