As we go into Summer it'd be good to throw out some rankings and see where the debate in the comments leaves us, so lets go

Top 3 looks right. Any order depending on preference to girls and sororities. Don't look at this website if you're a freshman rushing this fall. At least take everything with a grain of salt and a lime, and come into rush with an open mind. Check out fraternities of all sizes and culture, and see which one you're most comfortable with

Because the rating scale is the most effective way to encapsulate all of categories into one rating system that all IFC fraternities can go by.

There isn't an agreed upon scale...you like one group, I like another, etc. better to look at best fit. Quiet, small, active, huge, dry, wet, probation, etc.

Nobody mentioned lambda. Usually phi psi is whining on here. And all the large frats got good quality classes if you look at grades and retention etc.

Obviously they'll never be as good as Lambda, but I don't see any houses under them that had nearly as successful of a year as they did. Plus unless they're really good at keeping them low-key, they only throw like 4-5 open parties a year so social prob isn't really a huge deal for them.

As a member of the top sorority at OSU I believe I can honestly say that not only my sorority but every sorority would say Lambda Chi deserves their #1 ranking and I would add there is a HUGE, GIGANTIC gap between Lambda Chi and everyone else. Lambda Chi really is the only fraternity that should be considered "top tier" Lambda Chi is the "Gold Standard" by which all fraternities are compared. Sadly no other fraternity is worthy remotely on the same level as Lambda Chi.
