This is determined by the number of pnms at preference divided by the number of chapters

That's really low. About 1/3 quit, cut or didn't get bids?! Big cuts or lots of drops? Means quota was upper 30s? Will that affect gamma phi coming on next year?

Numbers from another source: eleven houses took 39--40--41--42--42--43--44--45--51--52--52 new members=491 women bid, for an average 47 women bid per house. House total listed at 135. Gamma Phi Beta slated to recruit beginning Fall 2017 after formal recruitment takes place for the other eleven houses.

They are listed on Oregon State's website for Fall 2017 start. GPB official HQ website still says date TBD, so keep an eye out.

Gamma Phi Beta's official website no longer lists any upcoming colony here. Sorry.

Gamma Phi Beta in January 2017 officially removed their acceptance to return to campus, they will not be colonizing due to the low available campus recruitment numbers.

Exactly one-third of the women who began recruitment did not finish. They received no invitations to their favorite/top homes, so they did not join. That's just the way recruitment works here. Its not a must-do 'thing' to belong, except to see if you can get into a top house. When the top homes do not invite you back, you call it a day. Who are we to tell them to open their eyes to any home willing to see them as sisters?

Then we need to build up the whole Greek experience. Sororities generally have a low profile except for two big philanthropies that I can think of....frankly, some of them could be a bit classier...

It's Oregon, we've always been more relaxed.
