The amount of hate this house gets simply for existing is absolutely pathetic. What is this, High School? Yeah let’s all rag on the less popular house! That’ll show who’s top! Yeah, of course these guys aren’t as popular because they just recently rechartered, but I will tell you this now. No house puts in nearly as much time and effort into grades, philanthropy, and competition as this house does and sees as much success. The fact that they are small means every guy is pitching in. While other houses may be more successful overall, they’ve all been on campus for 100+ years and have 100+ members. Sigma Nu does more with 40 guys than most houses with 80+. Placing second in Anchor Splash this year, winning mock rock 2 years in a row, and winning sing, all the while having top 5 grades and overcoming a ton of hate? I say there’s an argument to be made that proportionally, Sigma Nu is the most successful house on campus. Rising fast, great genuine guys, and successful.
