What's Hot - Hofstra University - HU

Phi Delt definitely is one of the more involved groups. Most of the older guys are some on the nicest and most genuine people I've meet at this school. However it seems the younger guys are just a bunch of nerds trying to act "frat" definitely glad I decided to not rush them too hard as i would definitely not have fit in with the spring 2015 class.

After rushing a year ago being around the classes douche bags of this fraternity, I now realize not joining pike was the greatest decision of my life. #GDIandProud

I have seen these girls around. they don't really hang out with anyone and I've never heard of them doing service. newest pledge class is pretty. older sisters have bad sisterhood. they are not that attractive or outgoing. bottom tier for sure.

AOB is a local sorority that is the oldest on campus. Had I made it all the way through recruitment, they were the org I wanted the most. Genuine girls who didn't really fit any particular mold, they are definitely not the type that first pop into your head when you think "sorority girls." Their alumni connections through Hof are fantastic, and they always seem to have a good time. Don't count them out just because they aren't Panhellenic. They're very approachable and sweet.

Phi Kapp definitely made a splash this past semester. They really showed up and made themselves known on campus, and their new class seems decent. Knowing a bunch of the founding brothers personally, I'd say that they're going to be on the rise over the next few semesters. Very easy to talk to, and they seem like they're going to have a social calendar that will only improve.

Thank GOD Phi Delt is finally on GreekRank. One of the most approachable orgs by far, these guys are frequently tabling, and their brotherhood seems super genuine. They're very involved on campus -- very visible, all around great group of guys. Not as hot as some of the other groups of guys, but everything else about them makes up for it.

Sammy has been on an upward trend during my 4 years at hofstra. They have great brotherhood and are very nice. They can be a little more involved on campus, which they already seem to be trying to do. Definitely going to be a top house in the future.

I think Alpha Phi deserves to be the top sorority at this school. A lot of my brothers thought they would be kind of stuck up, but we had a great time with them at any event we've had in the past. They're really nice, and idk about the past, but now is different. Their Taus are killing it and are very down to earth and friendly... Overall, they have a lot of hot girls but they also know how to party. Perhaps Pike bikes (but who isn't at this point), but also involved on campus and classy ladies.

TEPs don't really do much in the area of campus involvement; however, these guys are a good group of people and do know how to throw decent parties. They just weren't a great fit for me as I wanted to join a big fraternity and tep only has like 10-15 members. However if I went back to last year I would have looked into them more than I did.
