If you know you can not get into any other frat on campus, this is the place to go. They let everyone in and have mostly nerds. The guys are immature and act cool because they think they are in a frat. Little do they know, everyone thinks their frat is the biggest joke on campus. I don't know which is worse, going to SAGA or going to Chi Phi.

This frat is a joke. Everyone who shows up to rush gets a bid, easiest frat to get into now and people end up dropping during pledging. Weird mix of guys that just don’t add up and constantly throw the worst parties. Wouldn’t be surprised if they had no pledges in 2020

ChiPhi is openly thought of as the worst frat at Hobart except sig chi. It can be a good spot for freshman who cant get into other parties and they have a nice house no question. Not even in a mean way, just not a strong team.

will give practically anyone a bid so they're pretty weird. Kind of their own scene as they don't really do much outside of their circle. They also have a lot of weird brothers

Ah, the Chi Phi Fraternity at Hobart! Where do I even begin with this merry band of party-loving scholars? If I were to sum up my experience with them in a single word, it would be: "entertaining.&quo t; And by entertaining, I mean that spending time with these guys is like watching a sitcom where the characters are constantly getting into ridiculous shenanigans. Let' s start with their legendary theme parties. You see, the Chi Phi Fraternity takes "themed" parties to a whole new level. One time, they threw a "Time Travel" party, and I swear I saw someone walk in wearing a bedsheet, claiming to be a "ghost from the past." Another guy came dressed as a caveman, and I'm pretty sure he thought he'd actually traveled back to the Stone Age because he was grunting instead of talking. It was like a history lesson on hallucinogens! But it's not just the parties that make Chi Phi stand out. These guys are master pranksters. They once filled their president's room with inflatable rubber ducks while he was away for a weekend. I don't know if it was meant to be a joke or if they just really love rubber ducks, but it was a sight to behold. And their affinity for rubber chickens is truly perplexing. You're never too far from hearing a loud squawk in their house, followed by fits of laughter. Now, let's talk about their cooking skills. Or lack thereof. I attended one of their "Cooking with Chi Phi" events, and let's just say that the fire department might've been on speed dial that evening. I'm not sure what they were attempting to make, but it certainly wasn't edible. I suspect they were trying to craft a new fusion cuisine—half barbecue, half burnt sacrifice to the culinary gods. Chi Phi's fashion choices are also a sight to behold. They must have an ongoing bet on who can wear the most outrageous outfit to class. I've seen Hawaiian shirts and flip-flops in the middle of winter, and a guy sporting a cowboy hat like he'd just rode into town on a horse... which he probably didn't because, well, we're in the middle of the city. All joking aside, the Chi Phi Fraternity at Hobart is filled with a bunch of fun-loving, easygoing folks who know how to have a good time. If you want to experience a mix of chaos and laughter, this is the place to be. Just don't take them too seriously, and you'll have an unforgettable time. Whether it's their wild parties, strange pranks, or eccentric fashion choices, Chi Phi will keep you entertained and wondering, "What on Earth are they going to do next?" It's all in good fun, and you can't help but love them for it.
