I think it's dumb, but I'm not in either of these houses so whatever.

I'm not in either chapter, but to me it seems like It's just a PR move by nationals.

The local chapters themselves do the recruiting (obviously) and probably wouldn't ever be likely to bid a trans woman imho

For DU it's more of a local decision not national. If you self indentify as male.
