with phi delt's suspension what will happen?
by: ConsernedSince Phi Delta Theta was just kicked off campus, will the administration be putting a kibosh on all parties for the rest of the year?

They won't. It's just a warning for everyone thay the University is going to start cracking down harder. I think fraternities just have to be more careful and cover their tracks or even the smallest thing like an allergic reaction with get them suspended. It's stupid the university is doing this it's just make people do things even more behind closed doors and be more secretive.

While I see the party scene going away fast, many of our richest alumni are Greeks i.e. Uncle Phil, if they stop their donations if the school tries to do anything to the Greek system, the school will back down.

Phi Delt's national hq lobbied the university to ban the chapter for 4 years instead of 2. This is what happens when frats 'go dry' across the board. No way PDT ever gains any relevance here again.

Nationals was fighting for us to stay on campus. But when they realized that we were given the chance to recolonize by the university when all members graduate in "4 years" they took that rather then fight the school and waste money and resources. Nationals rather restart a chapter then fight for one because lawyers are expensive. As long as phi delt owns the house which we have for 90 years. Nationals will always try to put us back on campus asap.

The University has now set the standard and they need to comply with this going forward for ALL GREEKS that are in violation of University policies. It will be very interesting to see who is the next one being kicked off.
