How common is continuous open biding here? Is it worth it to drop and try that if i don't like any of the houses I have left?

I know that some houses do spring recruitment but not necessarily continuous open bidding. Alpha phi, DG, Alpha chi omega, and theta all did spring recruitment last year but not cob
