how do you handle philanthropy day!?
by: This process is confusingI got invited back to DG and Gphi, which was a little surprising just cause they're really different houses but I liked them both. How are you supposed to go through the next two days without being so paranoid that you can be dropped at any minute? Or is that just how it goes.

Talk to your rho gammas! They'll be a good source of support for you.
Also, just breathe. It only takes one to find a home. At no point is this really a "mutual selection" process. The chapters make the decisions; you just figured it out earlier than other people. The only thing you can do now is show your enthusiasm at parties, then go home and do what you need to do to take care of yourself.
I was in the exact same situation a few years ago and it really rattled me at first. But I found my home, and honestly once you're there it doesn't matter how you got there. Recruitment is like the SATs: it seems huge at the time but just like you probably don't compare scores with classmates, no one is going to ask you where you got invited to on philanthropy day.
