what are the deltasigs like?
by: RufisI am just wondering, I am a legacy and my dad wants me to rush them, but I want to know are they a solid group of guys or a bunch of jerks. Is there anything I should know about them like are they on probation / does the administration hate them? If so what are other houses to look into and which ones to avoid.

^^^ Id check out Phi Psi or Sigma Nu. They're opposites of eachother as far as the type of guys that are in the house, but they both have incredible houses and girls love them.

I functioned with sigma nu twice and they weren't anything to write home about. They were friendly but didn't really stand out?
Phi Psi has a rep with girls of being super creepy and predatory, so if you wanna be associated with that, go on ahead.

I'm not "my opinion," but since when has Phi Psi gotten that rep? I've been to a lot of their parties and have had functions with them in the past and they've never been like that. If we're talking predatory and creepy, I would say that more Lambda or Sigma Pi.

Phi Psi is less creepy with girls than Delta Sig 100%. DSig is one of the most douchey frats without a rep that gives them an excuse for being that way.

at least SigNu left enough of a good impression with the majority of your house to have a second function haha I enjoyed the one time we kinda had a function with them last fall. Midtier sororities like them, top tier would rather be with SigChi or Beta, but they are nice guys. I can see why "husband frat" is what other people have said on here.
I have had very few instances where Phi Psi has been a little creepy but those were individual circumstances. Overall they are really chill guys and are very typical top house, probation aside.
to OP: Ive partied with D Sig in the beginning of the year, some good guys, some not good guys. average.

Not sure where you've been, but I think speak for a lot of girls when I say that Lambda and Sigma Pi have been by far the creepiest guys I've ever met. They always try and force girls to drink, but really we just use them as a pre game for free alcohol and then leave to go to Beta, Phi Psi, or SAE.

Sig nu is top...of the MIDDLE tier.
Phi Psi may have a couple creeps, but Sig Pi and Lambda on another level.
Delta Sig is below Sig Nu but above Sig Pi and Lambda.

Like someone else said, Delta Sig is on probation but idk for how long. I'd look at rushing Phi Psi, Sigma Nu, or Beta. All have nice houses, all are decently nice guys, but phi psi and beta party a lot harder, whereas sigma nu is more focused on grades. And like what was mentioned above, all three houses are popular with girls.

Theres a lot of creeps in Delta Sig. Being honest, every house will have cool guys, every house will have a couple weirdos. DSig has a much greater ration of weirdos to killers than the average fraternity. They're not considered bottom tier unanimously, but a lot of girls have told me stories of creepy DSigs, and to those girls theyre definitely bottom tier.
