sleeping porches are the worst lol you don't want one.

I know AXO doesn't have one and I'm pretty sure TriDelt doesn't have one. DG makes everyone sleep on the porch. Chi O definitely has one but not everyone sleeps on it. Phi has one, but like Chi O, not everyone sleeps on it.

In the system some houses have too many members looking to "live in". When this happens all members need to provide a place for those who care to, Senior members rarely are relegated to sleeping porches and often move out with fellow members before senior year.

Part of Oregon greek life is about choosing. Sleeping porches are a place where members take rest and at times commune about the day's events. Houses lost to this tradition may one not care for. Yet in concept one may benefit most from the experience:

Look at the people in the house. Are these the people you care to be associated with for the rest of your life? Choose wisely or opt out. Greek is dedication to each other in a special bond not inclusive of guaranteed comfort. Lord knows.

As a member you can be a force for change should you see fit. Ducks say something, I did and my chapter is in the top ten worldwide. You will only get from Oregon the best you put into it. The princess days are over. The best is yet for you to open your heart to personal growth and take in the university experience.

I like having a dedicated sleep space. It's dark and cozy.
