best house

In my opinion, I think Phi Psi and Beta have the nicest houses. Beta has the classic looking frat house and Phi Psi has the most well known house in the country because of Animal House.

For sororities I like DGs and Chi Os the best.

It depends if you're asking which houses are better to LIVE in or better to look at. In terms of looks, I would put DG, Pi Phi, and Gamma Phi as top 3. If you're picking a house to actually live in, I would put AXO as an undisputed number 1 since it's beautiful, great location, and no sleeping porch. Then Tri Delt and Theta since they don't have porches either, but considering both of those houses were frat houses, you can expect exactly that.. A frat house with girly colors but none the less..a frat house. Of the houses with a porch I would say Kappa is a good house to live in because they're porch is the least miserable I've toured.

I agree with the above, I think Chi 0 & DG have the nicest houses. GPhi is also beautiful on the inside and out.

For frats (I've been inside every chapter house):
Beta (best looking exterior- looks like it could be in a movie, great front lawn, good inside)
Lambda (great basement, beautiful outside, big on the inside)
Sigma Nu (unreal dining room/backyard. newer and nicer than when sig pi had it. All singles)
Sigma Chi (gorgeous courtyard area. All singles with bathrooms I think, would be better if they utilized the space to rage)
Sig Ep (the perfect rage house. Not nice really, but big rooms, big front yard, big basement.)
Phi Psi (animal house is a great factor. Kind of average on the inside, backyard is the only thing that saves it really)
D Sig (I like how the rooms are set up)
Chi Psi (actually really cool layout on the inside)
DTD ( nice but average, haven't been there in a while though)
AEPI (my least favorite. smells)

All of the houses are really nice and offer the same value, so just go with what you like the most! A house was a huge factor in what I picked, because it reflects on the experience you will have- especially living in. \n\n\n\n\n

Beta and Phi Psi have the best houses by far.
Beta: huge house and really nice front lawn that they have summer parties on, inside is an average frat house and they have a lot of room to rage.
Phi Psi: THE animal house, yes from the movie, it's iconic. I wouldn't say its as nice as the beta house but its still pretty cool and they have a big backyard.
