by: DuckHonestly it is hilarious and sad that Phi Psi rushes guys under the pretense that they are a top house. They have virtually no live outs (Boathouse isn't even theirs), had little to no parties (I know they're on prob), and are super uninvolved on campus and in the greek community. How often to you see Phi Psi letters? On top of that they walk around telling most people they are a top house when half of the house is not cute and socially awkward. Phi Psi stop talking about being a top house when you're clearly not. One fun Shasta trip does not automatically make you a top house. Girls would still rather chill with Sig Ep, SAE, Beta, and Sigma Chi.

I'm a girl, and I like Phi Psi. Why? Because they're fun, down to earth guys that don't bash on other houses on an anonymous website. Sorry if you have beef with them for whatever reason, but the fact is that a lot of people like them because they know how to have a good time, they're actually nice guys, and they don't try to be something their not. You sound sad.

I'm going to be a senior, and lets just say that Phi Psi was actually the top house before they got in trouble last year. Yes its true that they currently aren't as good as they used to, but to put all those other houses before them is laughable. Just because they got in trouble doesn't mean that they lost their touch. They still had parties, and still did a lot of low key things that myself and plenty of other girls loved. I have no doubt in my mind that they will get back to their glory days now that they are off probation. I might even have to visit the infamous basement when they start doing those parties again lol

Idk everyone on here always calls Phi Psi the top house, yet every girl I talk to says their whole pledge class will only go to the Boathouse if there's nothing else to do and that their sorority isn't a huge fan of Phi Psi in general.
I have no problem with Phi Psi, but I feel they get more credit than they deserve from the bottom and middle tier sororities than the top ones

Phi Psi really only had boathouse this since they were on probation, but when they were off it, literary me and every other girl I know would go to Phi Psi's basement parties. Like what was mentioned before, they'll be back to their old ways next year. As for girls in some of the top sororities, some of them don't like Phi Psi because Phi Psi typically doesn't suck up to them like a lot of the houses here do so I think that might have something to do with it. Idk I like them.

Fair enough, but once again it seems like people are giving them credit off their old reputation. Are you really sure that Phi Psi is gonna be throwing basement parties again? Because it seems like Fraternities in general are sort of slowing down on that after the whole Lambda fiasco. Just saying I wouldn't bank on them doing that, and without any premier liveouts any one knows about it will be interesting to see how it pans out.
One things for sure, with a lot of houses off probation in the Fall some will crash and others will kill it. Either way it'll be fun

From the perspective of a guy in another fraternity I can see why girls like Phi Psi. One night when I had nothing else going on some buddies and I all went to boathouse and the guys in Phi Psi welcomed us in as if we were brothers. Nobody was douchey and tried to "Who Do You Know Here" me everybody just wanted to rage. That being said they have some pretty weird guys in their house. I guess it kinda goes along with their whole IDGAF attitude that they have going for them. My suggestion is that they just be a little more selective with bidding and they'll get back to their glory days. Also good luck stay of prob we will see how long that lasts.

I have no problem with them either, They are liked for their dog, and their old rep but I think that what "Idk" said is true about bottom and mid tier sororities giving them most the credit. I dont think the fraternities really give them much credit either and their pledge classes are starting to deteriorate. Saw spring guys in their house that i lived in the dorms with that rushed and didnt get bids to other houses, upper mid and top.
