kappa sig

Hello everyone, i came from a huge SEC school where i was initiated into Kappa Sig before entering the marine corps. I know we ran everything back from where i was from, since my fraternity does extremely well in the south, but I Was wondering how well we do here? It honestly wont affect me affiliating as i will no matter where i go I'm only curious. Its either here or boise state and honestly i prefer Oregon. Thanks in advance!

It official I'm coming to oregon just signed the lease to the apartment ill be renting. Thanks in advance to everyone who answered, but i have another question, is Kappa Sigma considered a southern fraternity here? Like cowboy boots and moonshine parties, im pretty country so im curious. Im from Georgia by the way hahaha

No frat or sorority is considered southern by any means but you'll have a few people to relate to. Feel free to bring that attitude out for barn dances though ;)

Not like an SEC school I transferred from a big 12 school in the south and its a lot more laid back, Hazing isn't really a thing and parties are a little smaller but you meet great people and its a really great city to live in.

nothing like an SEC school at all greek life isnt nearly as big or traditional here, honestly youd might want to just goback as opposed tojust coming here dude. might be dissapointed.

K sig is definitely not on the downfall. Coming from a guy in a different fraternity, they are some chill dudes and know how to throw some parties. They dont have a house but im sure you'll still have fun with them if you choose them.
