under rated / come ups?
by: curiousOkay everyone always talks about the sorority rankings and who's a top house, but I'm rushing next fall as a freshman and I want to be in a house that is on the rise and could potentially be a top house later on? Which sororities do you think have the potential to move up or are underrated houses?

Definitely AXO and DDD for middle tier that have potential to move up. Those houses have some serious dimes that are way underrated and both are crazy involved.

As a member of a sorority at Oregon, I advise you not to rush a sorority based on tier, be that top or upper middle or whatever. Go into rush trying to find a connection and bond with the girls in the houses because if you go in it trying to be in a certain tier, you'll probably end up hating it and not clicking with the girls at all.

Please don't rush based on rankings. After pref night I was left between the choice of a top house and a middle house: the top house I loved because of its reputation and how good I felt getting so far with them, but I deifnitely clicked way more with the middle house and truly saw myself being sisters with those girls. I ended up choosing the top house and I regret it more than I can say. I dropped before initiation and I'm rushing again next year. My mistake cost me a year of sisterhood.
