So I'm a transfer student from WSU and I'm coming in with a 2.9 gpa and I'm going to be a sophomore. I just registered for formal recruitment but was that a bad idea? From what it sounds like on here grades are really important and mine aren't great. If its obvious that I won't get asked back to any houses, is there still a way to get my money back now? Or is there a good chance I can get into a house?

stay in recruitment!! you might have some things houses are looking for that outweigh your GPA. And while it might seem like it isn't good enough because of this site, you never know until you go through! Besides many of those GPA's are about high school..
